Randoms

Today they installed my backsplash. DH would have loved it, and he picked it. It looks awesome.

I thought that grapes and wine would make a satisfying dinner, wrong. They just don't go together.

My stepdaughter really thinks I'd feel better if we fired up a bowl together. And watched one of my favorite stoner movies (neither of which her stoner self has seen?). So now I'm afraid to eat any thing she bakes, she threatened to make me brownies to help me relax and sleep.

And she thinks it's hysterical that three of my favorite movies are stoner movies.

Re: Randoms

  • Some cheese with the fruit and wine will help! It needs contrast. Or some sausage/crackers to balance it out.

That's awesome that the backsplash looks good.

Random: One of my kids gave me a gift today. It is a Stitch stuffed animal. They are CRAZY obsessed with Lilo and Stitch here, still. Is that even popular with kids in the U.S. anymore? Anyway, it was cute. It came with a note that says, "Thank you for your teach." AWWWW... Smile

  • all of my favorite movies are stoner movies.

  • LOL at your stepdaughter and her special brownies.

My kid just said "bye mom" when I was leaving his daycare room.  That pretty much made my day.

Awee. At what age do you become mom and not mommy? I feel like that is too grownup for the little chubster in your sig!

I'm at work already and have been here for a half hour. H went out last night to a Sox game with his coworkers, but didn't come home until 2:30, at which point he crawled into bed reeking of booze and woke me up. I never really went back to sleep and I'm pissed off. So I woke up early and came in early. rabblerabble. I'm grouchy.

  • I've always been mama or mom, he never called me mommy.

That would have pissed me off also, last week DH went to a brewery/bonfire event during the week and did pretty much the same thing.  Climbed into bed at 12:30 frigging reeking of bonfire smoke, I couldn't even smell the booze over the smoke.

Yes, campfire smoke is another one of those smells.  Shower is necessary. At some point he began to drunk snore and I damn near kicked him out into the guest bedroom.

I'm sure I am overreacting by being so mad. But it doesn't help that just about every one of my pg dreams lately has been about H cheating on me. Obviously not real life but it doesn't help the general sentiment here.
