No happy hour gatherings for me today but I might go get a drive-thru daquiri after work to enjoy at home tonight.

No happy-hour plans. Having lunch with a friend, maybe doing a little BM dress shopping for another friends wedding in two weeks (gotta love shot-gun weddings).

This morning I woke up super late (7 minutes after I was supposed to leave the house!) and when I woke up I thought it was Friday.
Luckily I remembered before I put jeans on and left for work.
Not a lot going on here, but am excited for Saturday. We're going to the UT Museum and a Valejo concert. Woot!
Had a wonderful evening of awesome sex, a bacon/tomato/avacado sandwich and mojito for dinner, and a triple-overtime hockey game.
Tonight I'm supposed to go to an outdoor concert, but it's looking like rain so that may not happen.
(Bailey's is too sweet for me, but I'll take an iced coffee!)

The air conditioner is fixed!!! YAY! I slept SO GOOD last night. I didn't feel like getting out of bed, it felt so good!
We might go out for dinner (free chips and queso coupon!) and I might get an adult beverage, but no happy hour plans.
Can I hold the coffee and just have the Bailey's? I am having a morning so far...
So my dog got tangled running around a tree, and managed to slip his harness. He took off and went for a swim behind our house, then came running back. It took a few failed attempts, but he eventually came, sat down and let me put his leash back on. (This was about 15 minutes of crazy town). I finally get him back to the house, and realize I am already ~20 minutes late.
I make coffee, feed the dog, and then go take a shower. I come down, getting ready to leave, and realize I didn't put the coffee pot in the coffee maker, so there is coffee and water all over my kitchen. Get all that cleaned up, go to get in the car, realize that I don't have the right keys, so I go back in, grab the right keys, and somehow manage to leave my cellphone sitting on the stairs.
So I am at work, sans cellphone, with a car that doesn't like to handle in the rain, on a rainy day. And somehow only 20 minutes late to work.
Happy Thursday!! As for tonight, my husband has some course work to do, so I am thinking me, my book, and a glass of white zin are going to get cozy!
Oh, Liz! You can have my share of the Bailey's too! That is a bad morning!

I slept decent last night with no coughing - thank god.Was able to sleep in my own bed. Wohoo.

Tomorrow I will work in the morning and then have my procedure.
This weekend - I have no clue.
I'm drinking Kahlua flavored coffee....I just wish it was the real thing.
Tomorrow I'm evidently supposed to go to this chicks bachelorette party. As of yesterday it STILL wasn't planned. She tried to con a gf of mine to plan it, but my gf is only in this wedding because she was the right size to take someone's place. I did hear mention of a country bar....I haven't been there since college, and I'd prefer to not go there again......
My gf did suggest we hit downtown and they rent a hotel (since they live 45 minutes away), but she never got a reply. That would be SO much better than the country bar....
ps - I've been to the country bars in Nashville. Those are ok. This is a sketchy redneck bar we're talking here.

Nothing exciting for me today. Just getting back in the groove at work. Luckily there is nothing major pending so I can take my time.
Tonight I'm supposed to have a softball game, but I also have circuit class. I fthere are enough girls for the game (we need at least 2 on the field), then I'll go to class.
Yum!! I love Baileys & coffee.
No real plans today. Last night was pretty uneventful for me as well. I am done with classes for this semester and I don't go back until the end of the of month! WOOT! I'm pretty confidant that I did well, so that has me pretty pumped.
I'm excited about this weekend though. Good food, drinks, and company!

Last night wasn't great. We had to order Chinese food after the pork chops H defrosted turned out to be bad.
Tonight I'm supposed to meet up with a friend for dinner, but we're both swamped at work so it might not happen. I'd actually rather go home and prep some chicken wings in marinade for Saturday, so it's all good.
Liz -- that's a crazy morning! I hope your day gets better.
So far today I've talked to a friend on the phone for a while, then cleaned the apartment. Now I'm checking my email, making a grocery list, and getting sidetracked by the Nest. After the grocery I'm going to check my usual job sites, then go to the gym.
Yesterday was nice. MH was off work and the weather was awesome. We had lunch by the lake, then came home and made pina coladas (been on a pina colada kick lately!) and strawberry daquiries last night.
