I want a dress from Calypso, but it is $$ and probably not going to happen.

I am trying not to buy anything else, other than maybe a couple of inexpensive tops for spring and summer, since the ones I have are so blah.

I need a new bikini for our vaca in two weeks. I am contemplating this one:

I'm taking a trip back to the states next month so I've been hitting up some online sales and getting things shipped to my parents house so I can get what I need while I'm there. Will be doing lots of shopping during that trip!

At the top of my list of *needs* is new sunglasses and sandals. Then my list of wants includes some more colored denim, a new bag, some casual dresses, blousey tops, and new bras.

Im also on the hunt for a dress to wear to an event with my new bf who is a golf pro.  There is an event at his country club, the first I will be attending with him so I want to be sure to look my best!

I got one from Lands End Canvas and I really like it. While it's not "thick" it's not really thin though, so I don't know if that's a no for you, but I love it looks good with the sleeves down or rolled up.

I've noticed! We are newly dating but looks like Ill be attending many events there!  This one is a dinner event for a member/member golf tournament.  I dont quite know how dressy it is.  I found one dress I like and may get but im not sure its appropriate yet.

Thanks so much! I will definitely do that!  This is a whole new world for me!  I have met some of the members and their wives while we have been out and about (its a very small community) and so far everyone has been wonderful so that helps!  But this is the first event I'll be attending with him so I want to be sure to make a good impression.

Thanks Birk, I'll check that out too if my target doesn't have any. I should've bought the one that was at ON a few weeks back. Now it's on clearance and the only size they have left in store is XXL..

I'm also trying to figure out what I want for my birthday and mother's day.  My birthday is the day after mother's day.  We bought MIL another Louis and as much as I'd love a speedy, we need a new fence before it falls over.  Le sigh.  Sometimes being responsible sucks.  Hee hee.

I ended up making my green maxi skirt from a maxi dress that I never liked the fit on.  If you can find a dress and a good seamstress, that may be your best route. 

I need shorts, but hate shopping for them, some brown cowboy boots (hitting the tack store tonight), and plain tees since none of mine fit well this year.  I also want to find a ring to wear in place of my e-ring since it's 2 sizes too big and can only be sized one more time before the setting would be compromised by resetting.

I went to the J Crew Outlet store today with the sole intent on getting that bubble necklace.  The bad news is that they had another necklace in stock but not the exact one I wanted.  The good news is that I didn't waste the 2 hour round trip--I bought a shitton of stuff today.  Everything was on sale and I got an additional 20% off for opening a store card.  The store was filled with so much cute, colorful and summery stuff.  I will have to post my haul but I'm afraid of the backlash against buying multiples of the same item in different colors.

Are you talking about Lo & Sons? Because I definitely pulled the trigger and purchased the OG bag about 10 minutes ago...my husband will likely have a fit. But with all the traveling we do, I feel like it will pay for itself over and over again, plus it was 30% off and free shipping...sold!
