Keep or return running shoes
I just got a new pair of shoes today was the 3rd time I ran with them and I noticed on my outter ankle bone it's sore where the shoe hits. It only bothers me when I walk, I don't notice the pain when I run. I don't have a blister or a bruise and its not sore to the touch when my shoes are off. Do you think once I wear them some more it will go away or should I not risk it and just return them now?
Re: Keep or return running shoes
I haven't been in your shoes (literally), but I've been in your shoes (figuratively), and I would take them back. If you bought them at a reputable running store, they shouldn't really have a problem re-fitting you. If you bought them from a big box store, there may or may not be an issue with a return.
At points during runs, you may have to walk so the last thing you'd want to deal with is a sore ankle bone during a time that is supposed to be restful.

I bought new pair last week and something is just a little bit off. I'm going back this weekend to find a new pair. I'm not wasting $100 on shoes that bug me!
