What the heck does that mean? The FB thread isn't the first time I've seen people use this terminology on this board, and it makes me sad.
If there's a cool group on here, I'm totally oblivious to it. I think some people get along more consistently than others, but I'm not really aware of any obvious cliques. What does being cool on SO entail?

As far as I'm concerned, it means not being a crazy trainwreck and posting frequently enough that we can tell you're not a crazy trainwreck.

I don't get the impression that there is a cool group on here either, everyone is very welcoming. I just think that some poster post more frequently than others and thus they form a camaraderie with other posters who post frequently.
I think a better definition would be "regular group" rather than "cool group".
BTW: Dmds is now too cool for us. She has completely moved her train wreck on to the Blended Families board on TB.

I am totally aware that on boards like this that proving yourself to NOT be a trainwreck may be in the cards. That usually just comes with time.
I thought she was just joking around. I'm pretty sure there's no "cool chicks who hang on the internet secret circle" for this board.

I think this board is really diverse and full of awesomeness. Cliques just don't exist here and I think that's part of the appeal!
