i hate storm warnings.
apparently i live in tornado alley now?
this is scary shiit. its all east and mostly south, but holy eff. they are talking about how theyll quit talking about it when it is out of the viewing area. except, we are not technically in the viewing area?
the only good thing is that dh is scared shiitless of storms, so i get the bed to myself. until he drags us into the basement.

Do you have a basement?
My whole life, we've gotten lots of tornado warnings every summer but not really many tornadoes, so we're all a little whatever about them. I was in Oklahoma at a conference once, and there was a warning (watch? I forget which is which) while we were at the Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, and they sent everyone into the basement. A British guy also attending the conference wanted to see the weather, so he and I went outside on the front steps and watched until someone realized we were gone and frantically came to find us. The Oklahomans thought we had a death wish or something.
I have no good reason for telling this story. I should have shagged that British guy, though.
