We made it to the weekend!!

Good morning and happy Friday to you all. I'll be working all morning but then have a meeting after lunch that will last until my leave time. Can't wait to get home, we have people coming over before 8pm so I have a few things I need to do before then.

My boss sorta semi-cancelled this meeting we were supposed to have this morning, which was fortunate because I was not at all prepared for it. So, now I have a couple of hours to get situated before he decides if he'll have time to talk about it today. Woo!

Cannot wait for today to be over! Manis and pedis tonight!

I'm trying to decide whether to go to Dallas tonight or tomorrow. I may leave tonight because it's graduation here in this little college town, so it would be nice to avoid all the traffic that comes with that. There will be no where to eat or park wherever we go. DH also may have to work late, in which case I'll be alone tonight, anyway, so I may as well be driving.

I'll be working until 8:30 tonight for a special event. Kind of looking forward to it because I should be able to make a connection with one of the honored guests (which is a good thing in my line of work)!

Happy Friday to all. Even though I've been under the weather it's been a good week. I got to talk to both my Mom and Sis who don't live nearby more than I have in a while so for that I'm thankful.

Saturday we are going out for some mexican food and Sunday we are going to a movie so should be fun.

Last time we had alcohol someone literally went to HR (who planned the fundraiser) saying how dangerous it was to serve employees alcohol before they have to drive home.

I wanted to slap her.

My old boss had a mini-fridge in his office and would call me in for a "meeting" in the afternoons.

Morning! It's my busiest day of month end close, but so long as my dept gets our stuff done, I'll get to just hang out around my office all evening until the other depts are done. If things go well, it's just a little bit of sitting and waiting, but last month we were here till almost midnight. My boss has already demanded that if things are going well, that we skip dinner and have beer instead, so cross your fingers!
