Welp. This is grand
So, I'm at work. My (5.5mm) kidney stone is lodged somewhere in my kidney right now and I'm in intense pain. My boss isn't here yet, so I have to wait until she gets here to leave.

Sorry, that really sucks. My husband had a kidney stone attack at a job interview once. He actually got the job.
Uh... can't you call your boss? Email her? Something? Do you have anything for the pain? Have you seen a doctor?
So many questions.

She should be in any minute. Argh! I do have stuff for the pain...at home...I'm an old pro at these. I've had about 6 or 7 attacks so I know what to do and I don't even usually go to the doctor anymore, unless it gets really bad. I just really want to go home

That's what my mom tells me. So, really, I'm good to go with the whole birth thing. But I'm home now! On the couch! With a book and some very nice (aka strong) pain meds.
