Who else has a full-spectrum light for SAD?
I've had pretty severe, disgnosed SAD for 10+ years. It gets so bad I can't get out of bed in the morning and can't get off the couch all day. Anyway, i got a SAD lamp yesterday. The doc told me to sit in front of it today for 30-40 minutes. I sat in front of it today for 20 minutes and I'm bouncing off the walls!!! Wow, these things work! Is that your experience?

Love to scrapbook!
Re: Who else has a full-spectrum light for SAD?
Yes, I got one this year. I'm slightly Vitamin D deficient and was feeling generally run down and depressed. I have the LiteBook Elite, and It was the greatest purchase ever. I haven't used it in about a month, because I haven't felt I needed it. But damn that thing is awesome.
I got one in January at the recommendation of my counselor. I'M SO GLAD I DID! It has really made a difference. I haven't used it in a couple months because the days are getting longer, but you can bet I'll get it hooked up come October.
I was Vitamin D deficient too (most Alaskans are) so I've been taking a good dose of it every day, and that's helped a great deal in addition to the light.
