I'm a bit overwhelmed with my health issues right now. Last year was a real sudden slide down into multiple doctor's visits, tests, blood draws and medicines. My official diagnoses are Lyme Disease and Celiac Disease. I'm pretty frightened with what the future holds regarding my Lyme, seeing as there is no cure for it. I can treat the flares as they occur, but eventually the parasite will be in my entire system. including my brain. My NP says my killer cell count is looking much better now than when she first saw me, but again it could go tits over arse at any moment.
Regarding my Celiac, I am also frustrated with it. It's taking a very long time for my gut to heal. I am considered a "super sensitive", which means that any airborne contact can send me off into full auto immune attack. Also the scale keeps going up even though I am eating less, and I am worried about my weight. I had pre diabetic sugars last month. Fckkkkk.
Anyway, that's it. My H says don't worry, but I do, I can't help it. Sorry for venting to you guys but I have been super stressed with family drama and this, and it's been weighing on my mind.
Re: Serious Suzy Post-Re: my health
I'm sorry :-(
Aren't you hypothyroid, too? Have you gotten on the right amount of meds for that? That may help with your weight.
Auto immune diseases suck ass.
Vent away.
Yes I am. She has me on 32.5 mg daily. It has helped shift about 10lbs off which is great, but know I'm plateauing out again
I'm sorry you're going through all that.

Wow. That's a lot to be dealing with at once, and I don't blame you at all for stressing about it.
hugs to you, and I hope things are on the upswing soon.
Wow, that's a super low dose. Have you gone back to get retested to see if your thyroid is where it should be?
I think she is retesting my blood this month. I think I may need more again as I am temping low and getting cold extremities.
Small world, my mom has Celiac too, and they suspected for a long time that she also had Lyme, but apprently her symptoms have been cleared for too many years now to actually diagnose. I'm gluten-intolerant, but not even in the same vein as her reactions if she accidently eats gluten.
If you need any help with food or anything (my mom even uses wheat free shampoos, which can be hard to find, so I've got the rundown on a lot of that kind of stuff), just shoot me a PM.
I'm sorry you've been having to go through so much.
That's good.
Sorry about everything else. I know you've had a rough year medically and have every right to feel overwhelmed.
I'm so sorry you are having to deal with any of this. It sounds like you have a great doctor who will help you get through this rough patch with the food/blood sugars.
((HUGS)) We are all here whenever you need to vent!
That is a lot to be dealing with. I'm sorry.
Yeah that's right my name's Yauch!
((hugs))
I'm sorry you are dealing with all of this.
