And I ditto the Gotye song, which I initially liked and which has been driven INTO THE G*DDAMN GROUND. However, KHC loooovvves it.

This is where I'm happy I have XM Radio and NPR and I don't really listen to the regular radio. So I'm not sick of the gotye song. Although I do hate that "fun" song.

Lurker here but me too!! Almost every morning when my alarm goes off it is one of those songs! I just think really, that's the first thing I hear in the morning!!
never loved either of them (as in, they were not ipod worthy, but i would listen and enjoy when i heard them on tv or the radio).
and then enter the mass overplaying and i am DONE!
same reason why i want to shank adele. her music was great. for about 45 seconds. and now i hate hate hate!!!
Even though though they are over-played,
I still like Gotye (even "somebody that I used to know" and "eyes wide open")
I also like Adele. But I can't listen right now because I heard it toooo much.
I like the fun song. Not sick of it yet.
I like Fun, but they try to sound like Queen too much in the other songs on their album. Queen is great and everything but let queen be queen and Fun. should do their own thing.
Also - their song "The gambler" reminds me so much of my H and I and what I hope our lives will be like. It's a great song.
I have never liked Adele's music, any of it. I don't get the love.

I saw Booby mention the Shins the other day. I have tickets and am excited about it. They have been on repeat lately.
I laugh about that every time I hear that song. So, at least every time I am in my car.
Also, they have several versions of it? I just want it to end.
AND, that gotye stuff sounds like a emo-hipster's version of manu chao.
love the shins. i don't know a ton of their music, but i'm educating myself and so far, it's great.
Wantta know how old I am. . . I haven't heard the "fun" song and I only recently hear the Goyte song. In the car, I listen to . . . wait for it. . . books on tape. I am practically a senior citzen.
Okay? I don't know what that means. I tried to. I listened to the entire album. But the melodies don't appeal to me. I like her voice, but the music itself I find kind of boring.

I love books on CD. That or I plug my phone in and play Pandora over my car speakers. I'm really tempted to pay the $36 and get commercial free Pandora for a year.
I have gotten so that I can't STAND commercials on the radio or on TV. Gross.
Can I fart and run with you? I like both of those songs, and albums for that matter, but I rarely listen to the radio so I hear them a couple times, buy the album and then only hear them when I want.
