What's a no nuts/dairy/egg sweet treat for a kid?
I have a couple allergic kiddos coming to M's 3rd bday.
Any ideas? I'm doing a big cake for everyone else. So 2 kids will need something else.
Fancy Jello cubes with fruit? That's boring right?
It needs to be bought too since I DO NOT bake. Unless it is super easy.
Re: What's a no nuts/dairy/egg sweet treat for a kid?
sorbet
jello in special shapes (less liquid and cut them with cookie cutters)
fruit

Do you have a Trader Joes by you? They have these soft baked snickerdoodle cookies that are to die for and they are free of: gluten, wheat, milk, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs and soy.
She doesn't need GF, she needs vegan. They're popping up more too. I have some fairly easy recipes for vegan cupcakes too if you'd like.
Homemade rice krispie treats would also fit the bill if you have the margarine substitute (check the labels though - not all margarines are dairy free).
Make cups of "dirt".
Chocolate pudding mix using coconut or soy milk instead of regular milk.
Newman O's
gummy worms
ETA: if you need it to be vegan don't use the gummy worms - they have gelatin. Also, obviously don't make jello or marshmallows, either.

Thanks Janie - I will check in there.
Rice Krispie treats have butter in them - boo.
ha. I read in my head GF/nut free/dairy free.
But, I would still recommend this place. our town is very pro-vegan cuisine.
Vegan cupcakes from WF.
Costa loves them.
Love this idea! Thanks!
No Trader Joe's or WF in this place!
I forget I can sub the butter for non-dairy marg. - yay!
Janie I bet With the Grain does something too.
I think it's rice krispie squares and fancy marshmallows (is there dairy free dark chocolate?).
I typically get vegan chocolate chips. The others sneak in butter fat sometimes.
Order them from Divvies then

I have a super easy and delicious chocolate cake recipe that has no dairy or eggs.
3c flour
2c sugar
1c cocoa powder
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla
2c water
2 TBS white vinegar
2/3 c vegetable oil (I am going to try adding a tiny bit more next time)
Mix it all together and bake in a 13 x 9 pan lightly sprayed with cooking spray at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
