Recommend water shoes (cave tubing, zip lining...)
We are going on a cruise this year to the W. Caribbean and we're looking into several active excursions- cave tubing (walking up hills, being in water), zip lining, etc. The ground will be damp/moist and we'll have interaction with water as well.
Thus, I am looking for water shoes that can fit both activity needs. I've heard good things about:
- Chacos (I like the ZX2/Unaweep)
- Tevas
Are there any other brands/shoes I should take a look into?
eta: Looking for a more open-toe style shoe...
Re: Recommend water shoes (cave tubing, zip lining...)
Thanks for the recommendations. I was looking more for an open-toe style shoe...
When we went cave tubing in Belize we just wore our sneakers and got them soaked. I didn't want to buy shoes I would never wear again and didn't want to waste packing space with them. They dried very quickly when we got back to the hotel. Just throw a pair of flip flops in your bag for the car ride back.
Zip Lining I also wore sneakers.
Chacos hands down. I own several pairs of their sandals. I don't find the other brands to be as adjustable or as high quality.
