1. Do you have a live or artificial tree? Artificial but growing up it was always real
2. Do you decorate with certain colors or a certain theme? Theme! Everything is Silver and Gold and they are pretty traditional balls. I also have these big silver stars in the tree as well as white poinsettias that i but on it.

5. How soon after Christmas do you take your decorations down? i wait until after New Year's Day so usually the first week or so in Jan.
1. Do you have a live or artificial tree? I'm highly allergic to the real thing, so fake trees for us!
2. Do you decorate with certain colors or a certain theme? Last year, it was bright multicolored ornaments, this year, I am leaning towards red and silver.
3. Do you and DH send Christmas cards or letters? If so, do you do photo cards? We send Christmas cards. We are thinking about starting a tradition of family pictures every Christmas. If we do, we will use the pictures for our Christmas cards.
4. What is your favorite Christmas food? DH makes the world's best mac and cheese, and he only makes it at Christmas
5. How soon after Christmas do you take your decorations down? In the apartment, they came down the day after Christmas because I was tired of having no room. I figure I'll leave them up until New Years in the house.
1. Do you have a live or artificial tree? an artificial one...I'd love to have a real one but I am super bad with remembering to water things and so I am scared it would catch on fire
2. Do you decorate with certain colors or a certain theme? my tree is done in red and green...and I love Santa Clauses, snow men, and nutcrackers...but we also buy ornaments from places we go and special events in our life so it's kinda hodge podge

1. Do you have a live or artificial tree? Growing up we always had a live tree, and I prefer them. But for now, DH and I have an artificial one we bought after we moved in together in an apt. At the time we didn't have a lot of room and didn't know where to get a real one.
This will be our first Christmas w/ Lily...she might be a factor in the future about what kind of tree we have. I don't know how she'll react to it..LOL.

Do you decorate with certain colors or a certain theme? yes--Our main tree (live) I have all ball ornaments on in bright colors--pink, green, blue, etc... we also have an artificial tree in one of our guest rooms (which is now the nursery) with all of the random ornaments that we have collected over the years, and then we have another artificial one in our room that has red bows and balls w/ various pics on them)....I go overboard b/c I LOVE decorating for xmas!!

4. What is your favorite Christmas food? hmmm...my dad always makes a chex mix at Christmas time that I LOVE...I also love all of the typical holiday food--turkey, ham, dressing, cranberry sauce, deviled eggs, etc.!
5. How soon after Christmas do you take your decorations down? usually try to around New Years, but sometimes I leave them up another week (bad luck I know)....b/c I get depressed when I have to go back to school after the holidays, but enjoying the decor for those few extra days sometimes helps!

4. What is your favorite Christmas food? my mom makes my grammie's (her mother) cinnamon rolls. She makes 4-5 batches so that we have some while we're home and we get our own batch to take home to eat. They are THE best and I refuse to learn how to make them (really I know from watching now so many yrs at my grammie's and mom's) but it's just not the same as them making them........
5. How soon after Christmas do you take your decorations down? family tradition in our family is before the end of the year.
1. Do you have a live or artificial tree? Fakes...although I love the smell of a real one. I know Monkey would eat the real thing though...
2. Do you decorate with certain colors or a certain theme? Not really. I always use white lights on my trees or other decor, and most of my ornaments are totally random. I have a "formal" tree that I put in my dining room and it will be mostly blue and white.

4. What is your favorite Christmas food? All of it. LOL...with the exception of ham and turkey and stuff like that, but I love dressing and cranberry sauce and all the other special casseroles.
5. How soon after Christmas do you take your decorations down? Eh...I don't really stress about getting it all down, but I like to try for having it all put up before I go back to work...so usually by Jan 2 or 3rd.

1. Do you have a live or artificial tree? Artificial...we had a real tree just once at my house growing up. It fell and broke several old ornaments that meant alot to my mother.

4. What is your favorite Christmas food? All of the food (ham, turkey, dressing, etc)....but my most favorite is the dessert. My mother and grandmother make lots of sweets (peanut butter balls, coconut balls, fudge, almond bark, etc), and I love every one of them!
