Abandoned puppy update--link to photos

Hi everyone! Thank you for your posts on my other topic. He is eating much better now. We are going to keep him until he is a normal weight and has his puppy shots, then we will find him a good home. We have 5 dogs already and 10 cats, plus farm animals...so we are kind of full!! :-) The vet anticipates it will be 4 to 6 weeks before he is healthy enough to start puppy vaccinations, so we are looking at an 8 to 10 week stay with us.
He is also producing body heat now, which is a great sign.

He looks like our dog, Dakota, when she was a puppy.
