Re: WBC: There are so many things I want to do to our house
Forever. ahahaha I'm not in a rush. It's just my list of things I want to do to this house. The ones that I want to do sooner than later include the painting, landscaping and interior decorating. The basement can definitely wait, as can the windows. The doors will be done when we can. Not much will be done this year since we're on a reduced income due to my mat leave. I definitely want all the painting done this year.
ETA: I guess most of it is more of a "wish list".
The painting and light fixtures are the cheapest things on the list, I know because your list looks like my list.
I will also add a master bath remodel which will include a door, thank God.
Ugh. I know.
We need new windows in the entire house. Gut kitchen and bathrooms. New flooring in entire house. New stairs and railings. New decks front and back. And so much more.
And then there's outside. Don't even get me started.
That is pretty much what our list looked like, except we redid the bathroom entirely and not the kitchen. DH also replaced all of the plumbing and built a room in the basement. The windows weren't nearly as big of a pain in the ass as I thought they would be after the first one was done.
Took around 6 years and an absolute shitton of nagging and fighting.
I am never buying a fixer upper again.
Daycare is SO exhausting!
