Our Lucy has had pretty significant diarrhea throughout the day and yesterday. We started a new bag of TOTW, and are worried that may be the cause. We threw away the bag already, and can't check to be sure if it was part of the recall. The pet store we bought from said they have had to pull all of their bags, so it is likely part of the recall.
I worked today and DH had to buy new food for her on his own. Upon speaking with pet store employees, he went with Merrick BG Buffalo...the review can be seen here...

Can anyone give me their thoughts on this? If she tolerates it, does it look like a good food to keep her on? It's 5 stars on dogfoodanalysis, so that gives me hope for it.
We have some cans of the TOTW she's used to that we're mixing with it, and so far her last trip outside showed significant improvement in the diarrhea.
Thanks for any thoughts! We'll be calling TOTW folks to let them know of our symptoms, as well as our vet. I know dogs can be carriers of salmonella and not even have symptoms, so I will make sure we get the vets opinion on the issue as well.
Re: Merrick Before Grain Buffalo? Switched from TOTW d/t diarrhea..
my cats eat BG--they seem to like it, and I like the price.
Good Luck!
