i want to live in a hotel
So I have gone back and forth for more than 3 years. Not able to commit to anything really other than some major stuff.. My home has little in it... I just stayed in a hotel a few days ago **side note I LOVE TO STAY in hotels!!!** I looked around and realized.. this is like my house.. just enough to get by with no clutter.. not too much on the walls... I want to live in a hotel suite and I think that is what I am turning my home into... now even though I like the look I dont think it is right for a family.. I need to get my butt in gear and start making it homey... thanks for listening.

Re: i want to live in a hotel
YEP.
But I really don't see anything wrong with not having a super homey house. I prefer less clutter too. Maybe you can take some of the nice features of hotels- super comfy bed with hotel style linens, robe, minimal stuff in the bedroom and incorporate that in your decor style.
We once went away and when we returned my husband thought we had been robbed! Apparently even the hotels have more"clutter" then our house. That was the kick I needed to put a few things on the wall though, I HATE clutter! Now we have two boys, definately more lived in now!
