we fed 40 people last night
we had a fish fry and were expecting just under 30. our neighbors through the woods heard us and drove down in their golf cart and some people came that previously said no. i have one million mosquito bites, i'm hungover, and i'm sure my guest bathroom is a disaster. but it was so much fun. i ate my weight in hushpuppies. there are two left that i'm going to eat for breakfast.

tartar sauce. i may have done a tartar sauce/ketchup combo w/ one of them though.
eta: most were corn-free. h did make a batch or two w/ corn, and the two left over are from one of those. so people obviously prefer the corn-free puppies.
it was. i had to take a xanax early in the day b/c i hate being around anything other than a small group, but it was fun. some people were outside dancing like dummies, some were playing bag-o (h refuses to call it cornhole,) we got the big beer pong table out, and some people were inside playing wii bowling. so there was something for everyone.
