My first DNS :(
I rested all day yesterday in the hope that I would feel better this morning. Nope: feverish, congested and achey all over. I turned off my alarm and went right back to bed.
I was really looking forward to this race, it is very small (I think only about 200 runners) and based on last year's times, I definitely could have placed in my age group. Oh, well. There will be other races and this one was inexpensive ($20 for 10K) so at least I didn't lose much money.
I did pick up my race packet Friday, so I got the tshirt. I'll just have to make it a point to do this one next year!
