Eating in a restaurant with my kids is about as fun as a root canal.
Everytime we do this we swear we will never do it again, 2 or 3 months goes by and we forget how awful it is and we foolishly do it again.
At what age does this get easier?
Re: Eating in a restaurant with my kids is about as fun as a root canal.
When they are old enough to be left at home alone with a pizza
But in reality I hope its soon
We say this every time! I used to take them out myself all the time and it was insane! What was I doing to myself? After walking out of a restaurant more than once before we've even ordered...we dont' do it anymore.
H and I do take them out every other week or so but we still follow the same protocol. We eat off hours, no one can be tired or very hungry, we have to be somewhere familiar, appetizers are mandatory (chips and salsa is best)
At what age? When they are in college, we want to eat out often.
DD will be 2 in a week or so and we've never had a problem taking her out to eat, anywhere.
::crosses fingers that this didn't just jinx me into eternal dining hell::
Oh yeah. its much easier when they are babies. Its only when they start to have that oh so precious opinion about everything that the shithits the fan.
