Come, let me tell you about my f*cking weekend

Friday- Took Ollie to his PT appointment where they said we can take his frequency down to once a month- yay! Came home and immediately got sick, threw up everywhere until about midnight. H had to take the baby even though he has a kidney infection. Then someone side swiped our car and took off the mirror.

Satuday- my MIL comes down to spend the night and help us out. She cooks dinner, cleans up, lets us nap. I love her. I felt better-ish, but not great. Ollie is cutting two teeth and completely miserable, and it took me two hours overnight to figure out that he was screaming because he was hungry and I wasn't producing any milk. (I'm assuming from being dehydrated)

Today- I decide to run Broad Street like an as$hole. I made it 8 miles in and felt pretty good, and that's where I should have stopped. The last two miles were hell. When I crossed the finish line I was shivering, my lips were blue, and I had to sit down immediately so I wouldn't pass out. My friends thought they were going to have to take me to the paramedics tent, but after getting warmed up and hydrated I started feeling well enough to make it home. When we get home, H immediately throws up because now he has the stomach flu, too!

Things this has taught me:

1. Taking care of a baby when your sick is the hardest thing in the world. Omg.

2. 24 hours is not long enough to go from puking your guts out to running a distance race.

3. I need to start making decisions like an adult instead of "how badass would I be if...?"
