I'm STILL hurting, wtf!

So Friday morning I woke up stiff, must have slept funny. It hurt to turn my head right. Thoughout the day it kept getting worse. All weekend I tried Advil and muscle relaxers and heating pad. It's not as bad when I turn my head right but it hurts through my neck, shoulder, and upper right side of my back. It hurts when I tilt my head to my right shoulder and when I life my right arm.

The muscle relaxers did nothing. Makes me think this is not a muscle issue. Wtf?? I should not still be sore from sleeping funny 3 nights ago...

I don't want to go to a doc, not even sure which one would help!

  • I get that.  It's a muscle spasm and I go to the chiro for it.

  • This happens to me, I've had residual pain for up to 3 weeks before. It really sucks:( Sorry. You could try a chiropractor? or maybe a massage?

  • Time for an adjustment!

Get your butt to a chiropractor.

Get some recommendations from friends and co-workers and go. No arguments!

A good one will incorporate massage therapy, tens unit treatment, and heat packs along with an adjustment.

If you're out of alignment you need the adjustment. I know it can be a little freaky but it sure as hell beats the pain. Plus your body overcompensates for the pain and the surrounding areas have to work harder which throws you even more out of alignment.

Do some deep breathing and just go! You will feel so much better!!

some yoga might help too, just be careful not to push it too hard and make it worse
