Tomorrow is the day

Tomorrow at 9am I am going down or my divorce court hearing. After this, we will be divorced. 

I'm not "looking forward" to it, but I am excited about it. Excited that I can end this chapter and start a new one.

I have a friend going with me for support and as a witness in case XH doesn't show up. Then we are going out for sushi to celebrate!

Congratulations! I fondly remember my divorce date. I celebrate my divorciversay annually. For me it was a very liberating experience. I'm glad you have a friend there for support. I'm glad you are looking at it in a generally positive light.

Thanks everyone. It was pretty painless and we were out by 9:30. To celebrate, my friend and I went out for sushi with a few other friends. It was great!
