What happened after Gabby gave Bree the scarf? Did she say she would testify?

One more long episode, right? And there is no way Carlos would have let the trial go this far. Where is he?

I cannot believe they are letting her take the fall (so far). I really don;t get the whole "Bree take the fall!" thing. I can't remember off the top of my head, but why exactly is Bree taking the fall?
I *think* Bree is taking the fall because her fingerprint was found on a button on the dead guy's shirt. They think that she won't get convicted, so then the whole mess will just go away. I don't remember why Bree is agreeing to it, and why Carlos is allowing it to go on like that. I know it wasn't exactly self-defense, but he was there to hurt Gaby, plus he obviously had a history of being abusive. I don't get why Carlos wasn't in this episode.
I hope the Tom/Lynette thing gets resolved quickly. I don't want the entire last episode some annoying misunderstanding between them that doesn't get figured out until the 11th hour.
