Need opinions about kitchen curtains (PIP)
Hi! I haven't posted here in awhile (not much D&R lately), but I think I want to do a mini kitchen makeover. I'd like to change up this window. Different curtains with less red, more sage green, something with a pattern.

I saw a DIY project on Pinterest, a Roman shade. I love the look and this fabric would actually work pretty well.

But I worry the project is beyond my capabilities and I'd have to tear out the blinds. WDYT? Worth it to try the Roman shade or should I just make some curtains in a pretty fabric but in the same style as the red ones above?
Re: Need opinions about kitchen curtains (PIP)
Is privacy a concern on this window? If not, I might opt for some drapery panels on either side of the window. You could still do a pattern. The roman shade style works, but I think that you could add some visual height to your room with panels with a big drapery rod up top instead.
I'm not a fan of the cafe style you have. I think it makes the room look choppy.
