Did you have a curfew or where you cleared to stay out all night? A bunch of my friends came back to my house afterwards. My mom cooked up a bunch of food, we napped, then went to Six Flags the next day.

I went to my prom, we only had Senior Prom. Wasn't invited to any others.

It was around $100 on sale.

I did have my first professional manicure done for it, and I had done the tanning beds so I wouldn't have tan lines for about 2 months before prom. My mom did my hair and makeup at home, though.

Somehow I convinced my parents to let me stay out all night but she thought we were staying somewhere that had a chaperone and we totally didn't.
My bf/date and I had a hotel room that night.

I went to 2. They were only for juniors and seniors.

My grandmother made it, so just the cost of fabric which couldn't have been over $50.

Date. But the guy that asked me had a girlfriend by the time prom came around, so she went with somebody else and we kind of shared dates.

Nails were the only "professional service". My aunt did my updo and my BF did my makeup.

I had a curfew, although I don't remember what time.
Sidenote about mine, there were two things that pissed me off early on prom night.
1. I was the only girl in our group who's date forgot to get a corsage. I had a boutineer for hin, but he spaced and didn't get me any flowers at all, so in our group pics I am the only girl without any. In hindsight, that didn't really matter but I was mad at the time.
2. I asked him to clean out his car before that night because he was notorious for having a messy vehicle. He didn't do it so when he picked me up there was all kinds of junk on the floor that he had to move out of the way so my fancy shoes and dress weren't hovering over all his crap. Since we didn't get a limo or other driving service, I was pretty mad that he didn't at least take the time to clean up his ride first.
He's lucky he still got laid that night, to be honest!

Did you have a curfew or where you cleared to stay out all night - I don't really remember, but I slept over at my friends house with some other girls, and then the next day we all (including our dates from the night before) went to an amusement park for the day, it was really fun.

Now I'm a big fan of bargain shopping and can't believe my dad and I spent that much for prom that year. I borrowed a dress for a couple of other proms though.

I had a date to every prom but we always got together for dinner with a big group of friends, most of them had dates also.

Ours was "Shangri la" and set up like an Asian garden with exotic flowers, waterfalls, etc. It was actually really neat.

Yes, I got my hair and nails done.

My dad let me stay out all night as long as he knew where I was. We usually went to a party or 2 and I'd stay with a friend overnight afterward.
