Hellooooooooooooooooooooooo:)

What did you guys do this weekend?  It was gorgeous here, so I gardened saturday all afternoon with Anna's help and cleaned all my patio sunday.  And also went for a run, and for ice cream, and for a walk.  And had lots of wine and beer.  Basically, it was perfect.

Except I took the cover of my grill, and found it dead.  So I'm in mourning.  I've had that stupid thing for 8 years, so obviously this was coming, but I was hoping I could clean it and keep it a few more weeks.  But it was rusty and MOLDY.  HTF does that happen?  I told DH I want a grill for mother's day, lol.

Re: Hellooooooooooooooooooooooo:)

  • Jealous about the nice weather.  We woke up to a blizzard on Saturday here.  May in Calgary is always crazy.  We went to the gym Saturday morning, and then cleaned the house and had people over for dinner on Saturday night.  Yesterday it was nicer so we went for a walk and were really lazy.  It was nice.

  • Oh no, I think I would have cried.  I only ever remember one blizzard in may in my 34 years.  This year we didn't even get snow in april, yay for global warming, lol.
  • I was born in southern Ontario, and the day we moved to Edmonton when I was 9 years old, it snowed, in August.  You get used to really nice days in January (+15) and weird snow storms in June.  It's supposed to be 16 today and 22 tomorrow, so it never lasts very long.

  • I think we're going to grill for Mother's Day, too. I can stuff my face on grilled vegetables and not feel guilty. We grilled Friday and Sunday night, then went out for Hibachi and sushi for our anniversary on Saturday night.

  • Friday - worked at then went to pick up my God daughter

Saturday - Went to this really awesome zoo with my goddaughter, husband and sister. It was really cool. You got to feed 90% of the animals and pet them. It was very hands on and educational. There was a wagon ride where they came up to you.

    Sunday - ran a 5k
