Sorry I didnt want to take over that other post.
I threw out my back a couple of days ago.
It was feeling a little better and I was signed up for a 5K.
I didnt want to not do it because I needed to accomplish it.
So I ran it and I am not getting the ugliness from doing it.
My back hurts and it goes down my leg on one side. That is why I said I was crippled.
Re: LHC
Don't waste your breath trying to explain. LHC is just trying to needle you for information so she can then make fun of you. That's what the regs around here do.
No one is being ugly towards you for running. People are laughing at you for comparing the pain you are in after a 5K to being crippled. You seem like a nice enough woman but I'd be eye rolling, hard, at anyone who said that.
its really not the run. I aggravated the back with the run. My legs are fine. Its the back.
I am dying. What is with the dumb p*ssy AEs around here? What's the matter? Too afraid of me to use your real screenname?
And anther, sorry. I thought you meant you really were disabled and I was like, "What? What did I miss?". I'm rarely online on the weekends. Congrats on your 5k; was it your first?
Updated September 2012.
The AEs are getting on my nerves too!
Yes it was my first. I don't think it would have hurt this bad if I was not so stubborn. i should have healed my back.
But ya know what?
I ran it!
I made it to the finish!
I did it under an hour.
I am proud of myself
