Color savvy ladies...what accent color(s)? pip
These are the colors I have going on in my family room. The 1st color is on the walls.(SW Macadamia) I have a sofa that's the middle color. (an olive green) then I have dark wood furniture and a side chair that's dark brown leather.
The room gets very little natural light and I feel like it's so dark in there. I want to add some pops of color with maybe a new rug, maybe a new lamp and definitely some artwork. What accent colors would you recommend? Thanks a million!

Do you want something earthy or bright?
For bright, I might go with yellow.
For earthy, red.
mustard yellow?
Some watery aquas, teals, blues? Blue and green can totally work together
I'd like the blue/green idea. And, some white. If it doesn't get much natural light, you could use the blue and green to bring the "outside in."
I think plum or coral would be really pretty. I know my inspiration pics kind of suck, sorry!
