I can't believe I've manage to beat through 16 gallons of paint in the last 3 weeks.
The bedrooms are done. All I have left are bathrooms...but I threw out my back, so I'm putting the brush down and taking a break.
Here are the colors we went with though
DDs room: SW Hibiscus/SW Lavish Lavender. She's almost 4, picked the palette herself. It's bright and girly and fun...and BRIGHT. Decals from Tarjay
DSs room: SW Charcoal Grey (OMG. LOVE) and SW Poinsettia Red. I was skeptical about the bright red (again, he picked) but it looks AMAZING against the dark grey that is in the main part of the room.
Guest Room: SW Perfect Greige and an accent wall in SW Mature Grape.
I love the color on the accent wall, but it was a *** to put on and get on evenly. Thank god I didn't have to paint 4 walls that color
And the MB: SW Dark Night/SW Crushed Ice in the sitting area.
I cannot say enough about this color. I AM IN LOVE. It reads from a true teal to a deep teal to a dark navy to an almost black depending on the time of day. Again, a total *** to put on. I had to cut all the lines 3 times and it was rolled 3 times to get it smooth and even. Pics will show the gamut of colors that this paint reads:
still need something for windows and walls, but the paint was a huge project of the to-do list. Now taking a break to tackle the backsplash

The large floral print ones are Home Goods and the smaller ones were from overstock
Gorgeous colors and it looks like you did a great job of painting.
I love that you (and your family) picked such bold colors--go you!
Love the colors!
It's amazing. And the fact that reads as a deep teal most of the day (at least in my room) is a bonus because I thought it was going to be more of a deep blue with not that much of a green undertone. Actually, when I opened the tin, I was worried because it looked like a teal that leaned more towards more green...but once we put on the 2nd coat, it started to look amazing.
I'm pretty sure that goes back to my growing up and not being allowed to paint what I wanted in "my" room in my parents home. I always wanted something bright and girly...my room was puke salmon color that my mom picked out.
I especially love this room. We're getting ready to paint ours a similar color. It seems to lend itself to luxury and I'll bet it makes for great sleeping.
