One of our adopters, a young woman who was outwardly very healthy, has passed away this weekend from a seizure/prolonged migraine. She was the most wonderful person, very thoughtful and amazing, bringing a senior dog into her home and offering him the love and happiness he had missed his entire life. She passed away suddenly Saturday night from a seizure after a prolonged migraine, and though she left her babies (Johnny Cash the 9 yr old GSP and a young maltese) behind, they will forever remain with her family... Her mother assured me that her dogs are permanent members of their family and they'll hold tight to them and cherish them.
Thoughts and prayers lifted up to her and her family... I just am so tearful thinking of her gone, when she lived right next to my work and I got to see JC every afternoon in the backyard. She was a wonder, always ready at the drop of a hat to take on a foster if needed. Love you, Cara! You will always be a part of our rescue family!
Re: Thoughts and Prayers
I am sorry for your loss. So glad her pups are able to still stay safe and happy with family. T&Ps.
Oh no!! T&P all around!
