::joelen::Re: Chicago recs
I am in your great city of Chicago for the NRA show and have tomorrow to explore the city. Any recommendations? I have pretty much been eating at the show and meetings during the day, then ate deep dish and at sandu. Walked millennium park and Michigan avenue, rode by the pier and the fields, but didn't stop at either. Any guidance is appreciated! Thank you!

Aww... I was at the NRA for a majority of the weekend and today! Do you usually go each year? If so, perhaps we can meet up next year!
Where are you staying? That will help with recs that aren't too far out of your way. If you're in the loop, here are my faves:
Breakfast - Waffles at 1401 S Michigan
Garret's Popcorn - several locations in the loop & at Navy Pier. You cannot leave Chicago without getting some! (I recommend the 'Chicago Mix' which is a combo of cheese popcorn & caramel popcorn.)
Attractions - Modern wing at the Art Institute
Navy Pier - crystal gardens, ferris wheel
Millenium Park - the 'bean', water fountains
You could also take a jaunt through Chinatown which is east of McCormick Place where the NRA show is being held.
