s/o: Two mentions of vodka.
When was the last time you drank liquor, not beer or wine? Maybe my twenties, say like a dozen years, that I can recall.
Re: s/o: Two mentions of vodka.
it's been a very long time. Even for wine it's been a long time.
X killed my taste for alcohol. Sad but true.
Saturday.
I don't drink wine or beer. In fact, the only alcohol I drink is vodka.
I like liquor quite a bit, but - unlike tonight - I usually I won't stick with it all night.
At the GTG on Saturday, I started with liquor but moved to beer. This is pretty typical for me.
*checks clock*
Lately, that has been my go-to. H and I will have a cocktail now and then after the girls are in bed.
***snob alert***
We would drink wine, but we're down to the bottles that need to be stored for a few more years, and we don't want to open them yet. And I haven't gotten around to buying more that we can drink now because of my hang up about buying booze w/ a kid in tow.
***super snob alert***
I won't drink beer at all. The last time I had any beer was probably a sip of H's at a frat party in college. Vile.
Then I'm a snob, too.
I will drink pretty much anything with a mixer, and DH and I drink mainly wine, but I cannot take more than a few sips of beer.
DH will have a couple of Coronas occasionally, but we're pretty much wine people.
Wait, not drinking beer makes you a snob? What about very very very expensive microbrew artisan limited edition beer? Cause I think that many brewmakers would disagree!
/singing lullabies to the yeast.
What she said. If you think drinking a keg of natty light at a frat party is the only kind of beer there is I am sad for you.
Summers were made for frosty beers and chilled sangiovese roses.
yep.
What are the other seasons for?
i typically only drink whiskey. an occasional rum and if im feeling girly, amaretto.
i also hate beer. one of my best nights in college was trying to drink and entire beer. it didnt happen.
Saturday at a Derby party. I like to drink a vodka press (or shots, whatever) if I'm out and about. But I drink beer or wine 90 percent of the time at home. I've got some fancy 3-buck Chuck going on currently
Everything else
Free for all! I like it.
I just don't like the taste of it. H has had fancy schmancy microbrews that apparently taste all sorts of wonderful. But they all taste the same to me. Like beer. Maybe if I could force myself to drink a lot of them, I'd develop a taste for it, but I just can't do it. I'd rather just have a mixed drink or a wine.
But I will admit that there have been many occasions where I wished I liked beer. Oh well.
I'm not a beer drinker either. I've gotten to where I can appreciate them and even enjoy a few sips of certain kinds, but not enough to drink a whole one.
soooooooooo, not really a snob, eh
Im drinking Jagermeiter as we speak. We found out tonight that my son got a scholarship for b'ball and will be 3 states away, so Im drinking the whole bottle.
I also HATE beer. My husband loves beer and thought he could convince me to like it overseas and I just can't acquire a taste for it.
