weekly book post-are we still doing these?

I am still reading Carly's Voice. It is good but it is heavy at times.  I have been reading for six weeks!!  Looking forward to finishing it and reading something light next!

Re: weekly book post-are we still doing these?

  • I just finished Fifty Shades of Grey and honestly I'm still not sure what all the hype is about this book.  It just read like a trashy romance novel to me.  I also found the author to be VERY repetitive, repeating words and phrases way too much.

I will, however, probably read the next two in the series because I want to know what happens, lol.

I read the second two for the same reason!

  • It's been a while since I posted anything on the board *shamefully* so ill just list out what I've read lately. Of course not in pretty format since I'm on my phone. "the knife of never letting go". Really enjoyed that one! Cool perspective on a dystopian society on another planet. "new moon" and "eclipse" from the twlight series. Now I'm on "breaking dawn". I didn't read them before because of all the hype, thought they'd be crap. But I'm actually enjoying them. I mean, they're not literary greats or anything, not that I read that stuff either haha, but they're fun to read and I look forward to the rest of the story.
