kid was whinging, I was across the kitchen putting milk away.  I told kiddo to hang on a minute, I'd be right w/ her - 

AND THE TV TURNED ITSELF ON!  

 

Neither she nor I had the remote, nor were we anywhere near it or the TV.   Remote was across the room from both of us. 

 

Convenient, but kind of eerie!

Yes, that's what I thought too! 

Would have been more helpful for ghost to turn on a music channel or music videos b/c kid will dance to any music, but ANY distraction for her was fabulous at that point.  I nearly said "Thanks" out loud before I realized how odd it was. I thought for sure she had the remote since she seeks it out all the time.

My alarm clock that plays my ipod started playing all by itself last night. I was on the couch watching TV and then it started playing. My cats were both on the couch with me.
