Here's a funny story about my GIL
Because it makes me laugh every time.
A little background.
Grandma is 84 and just got DXed with terminal lung cancer. We don't know how long she has left, because she won't go for a lung biopsy, but whatever, we know it's cancer, all the tests say so. GIL, MIL and aunts had planned a trip to Aruba in July, but moved it forward to April.(MIL couldn't go)
They got back a week ago, and my MIL phoned me up to chat. She says "You won't believe this story about GIL!" Apparently they went down to the beach and decided to leave for dinner. Except GIL got stuck on the sand. Four huge guys raced down from the restaurant with a chair, placed GIL on it and ran up the beach with her on it like a throne.
GIL thought this was the best thing ever and called my MIL when she got back to inform her she was going to live in Aruba so she could be carted around like the Queen of Sheba.
