**MRSPAT**

I feel like we haven't talked in ages. How is the Church coming along? Are you moved in?

  • And more importantly, what's the blog address?

I know!  My new job is really with my nesting time.  Damn jobs anyway.

I said this yesterday but I don't know if you saw it, I can't believe how far along you are already.  It probably doesn't seem so to you, but this pregnancy has been flying by!  How is little Balthazar doing?

We are all moved into the church.  The kids love it, they are in love with their ginormous living room as Lucas calls it.   The one downside I have discovered, that I don't know why I didn't think about earlier is that our bedroom is in the choir loft.  There are 35 stairs from the loft to the basement.  The basement is where our only bathroom (for now) is located.  That is 70 stairs to deal with just to go pee at night.  My legs are starting to look pretty good, but man... that is a lot of stairs. lol

So!  Did you also do a little happy dance at the renewal for season 8?  Party!!!  I thought of you when I read that and knew that somewhere out there you were also clapping with joy.  : )

You know what?  I think I already have a blog.  I was talking to H about it one night and after I went to bed he woke me up and I think he told me he set it all up.  I was half asleep at the time so I don't actually know if he did or it was one of those half asleep/awake dreams.  I need to ask him about that.

I'm clearly off to a great blogging start.

  • I can't believe you're all moved in!  Holy cow!  And 70 stairs between your bedroom and the only bathroom - wow.  You're got to have hot legs!

Does it feel like home yet, or does it still kind of feel like living in a church? Does the choir loft/bedroom have doors?

  • OMG!!! I'm so thrilled that you are in the church. I cannot wait to see pictures. And I'm glad the kids like it too.

Your legs and ass are going to look amazing with all those stairs. LOL

I think I may have missed the post about you working. What are you doing? I've missed you around here!

Baby Balthazhar is doing very well. I've started to feel a bit of movement in the last week so that's nice. My 20 week ultrasound is 2 weeks from tomorrow! It does actually feel like this pregnacy is going pretty fast. I've been able to keep my blood sugar down too, so that's a plus.

And LOL Jule..you know I never mind you jumping into my pages!

  • Also, yes, I kind of screamed when I heard it on the radio. I'm so happy. I'm just not ready to say goodbye to them yet.

And how freaking funny was Cas last week? I love him so much.

    Megatron? LOL

There is small sitting room at the top of the stairs and there is a door between that room and the bedroom, but the bedroom is open to the sanctuary below.  Eventually we are going to put up a door of some kind, because where the minister stood will be our kitchen and you can see straight into our room.  So anyone getting a drink at night will be able to see us having sex.  Not so good.  For right now it's fine, but it's on the to do list.

I kind of felt like we were squatting in a church for the first week or so, but then I started making H help me hang stuff up and decorate plus we got the bathroom done so now we can shower here which makes it feel like much more of a home.  Running over to my IL's house was getting old.

You will be able to see all of this when you come back to visit.

    Hint, hint.

  • Aw, puddle! Movement is the best part.  I can't wait to hear if it's a boy or a girl.  Any inklings?

Mrspat, yeah, running back and forth to the inlaws to shower would SUCK.  I can't wait to see the place this summer!  I'm feeling kind of landlocked right now and I'm ready to head and drive through open space for a whlie.  I can't wait to let DD run around in my parents yard, too, and along the lake by their house.

You're almost half done already, that's crazy!  Are you going to find out the sex of the baby?  This is so exciting!  I'm so glad your GD hasn't been giving you any problems.

I started working at a little retreat center here.  It's mostly for business meetings, school retreats, family reunions, wedding receptions, etc.  It's a small place, we can only hold like 140 guests at full capacity. It's part time, mostly so I can get out of the house and be around other adults for sanity sake.  Last week I only worked 13 hours, the week before was 11.  Nothing real back breaking.   I float around between the various departments helping out where needed.  I can come to work after dropping the kids off at school and even at our busiest, I never have to work later than 3.  The kids go to my sister's house and it's been working out really well, I like it a lot.
