Met Gala anyone? Beyonce's dress PIP
Doesn't it look like she is kneeling? It's a bad dress IMO...makes her look 4' tall.

The angle is what's doing it for me. Instead of the camera being level w/ her, it is looking up at her. She's on the bottom step, and everyone else is on stairs above her. I think if it was shot like a normal red carpet/premier/whatever, it wouldn't make her look so small. And it does look like her knees are bent a little.
ETA: I officially revise my opinion after seeing the other pictures. That dress is all kinds of bad news. Cripes.
It is not flattering, and it is fugly.
The first pic posted makes me think she is cut off at the knees or something, by the angle.
Her hairstyle is too severe. Something a bit softer would have been better.
