Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I'm having a "f**k it all to hell" kind of day.
I got an email this morning outright rejecting me for a job I really, REALLY wanted at my company. It mostly bugs me because I didn't even get an opportunity to interview-- I was just plain rejected. I spent a half hour crying at my desk about it (thank god I work from home today!). I really have no will to work. I want to be done so I can go for a walk or ANYTHING to get my mind off of how sh*tty I feel right now. Unfortunately posting on an online forum is the best I can do.
At least my boyfriend gave me a hug and a "best work at home employee" award to make me feel better. Even if he's biased.
It's just me and my Marlon now... and I LOVE it that way!

Awww...Pugs I am sorry! That really sucks that you didn't get an interview but I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason! Maybe an even better opportunity is coming you way.

I recently had a similar thing happen... I applied for an internal position... had a great 1st round interview, or so I thought. He basically told me I was going to go to the final round of interviews, that everyone knows I do a good job, etc. But then nothing happened and they just released that the position has been filled. I met all the requirements of the position
It is annoying and I don't want to work either. I have 2.5 weeks until I come back to the US and am getting excited to go home!
