I tried to find a dress today and liked nothing

I think we are in a fashion rut collectively, as a race of people.

Colour block? It's just terrible.  Trust me, nobody should do it, ever.

Everything else looked dated, or cheap.... or sucked in another way.

I tried on ONE dress that fit super well, and I loved, except it was lavender and I should probably not wear that colour since I am too pink.

I think I need to hit up the mall OOT on Thursday for more options.

  • Ok then it's not just me. Shopping is a freaking nightmare lately. I have curves in all the wrong places apparently. Anything that looked good on the rack, I looked like a squashed sausage in. Redonk. And the colors? Erm, just no.

  • I went to Nordstrom on Sunday, and I was completely underwhelmed with the styles and...ugh...THE COLORS!  The bright oogly colors.  I found a couple tops and a very nice white crocheted open cardigan, but I was bummed with 90% of the stuff I saw.

  • About 1 month I posted about getting stuck in a dress.  It was awful.  I couldn't get it on or off.  I couldn't rip it.  I almost called my sister to come and cut me out of it.  Finally after silently crying while sitting on the dressing room floor I must have lost enough water weight to get it off of me.

    I haven't been shopping since.

  • I agree BUT I got the most amazing dress at Our Dressing Room downtown the other week. Over $200 which I never spend but it is awesome. Timeless, flattering etc.

    :(

This has happened to me with a shirt once. I had to take a deep breath to avoid hulk ripping it off of me.
