NDR: For those who read all Hunger Games books
I read The Hunger Games and loved it. I read Catching Fire and did not like it. Will I like Mockingjay?

What didnt you like about Catching Fire?
I loved Hunger Games, loved Catching Fire even more, and could barely get through Mockingjay and didn't like it very much.
Ditto this - I liked the series in general, but there was stuff in Mockingjay that just didn't make me happy.
SPOILER ALERT...
What I liked about HG was 1) that it was different - not your usual story. It was exciting and I wanted to keep reading even though I knew she would surive
What I didn't like about CF was that I felt like it was almost a copy cat of the HG. That because HG did so well, she had to write another story with another game. I skimmed through most of the book once I realized where it was going. Maybe I shouldn't have read them back to back.
I thought the exact same about Catching Fire. I liked Mockingjay, although I do think Hunger Games is better.
Hunger Games was my favorite (the first books in a series are always the best, IMO). Catching Fire was good, a little similar BUT the ending surprised me. Mockingjay seemed rushed and unedited but it did wrap things up though.
