Can someone tell me what happened in NC?
I have seen two facebook posts about it but I don't know what happened. I am too lazy to look it up. lol.

spoiler alert: no gay marriage. voters approved the ban.
We had an amendment to our state constitution on the ballot that officially recognizes a marriage as only between a man and a woman. It looks like it will pass.
Here's the official wording:
Constitutional amendment to provide that marriage between one man and one woman is the only domestic legal union that shall be valid or recognized in this State.
If you look at the county results, the only places where it failed were the metropolitan areas. Like, 8 counties. The rest of the state passed it. Unfortunately.
Boo.
