We put a offer in on this house today
I am sure we will work out the details, I love the inside and the neighborhood is great, but the "peekaboo" Brick is not my style and it has to go.
My thoughts are to have someone fill it in and then paint and then put wood beams over it? (This is something that is happening alot in Oklahoma not sure if it is everywhere)
I was thinking maybe the trim color and then the beams like the entry way?
What do you guys think I am open to any ideas
Here it is
And close up of the woodwork on entry I was thinking of matching
Any ideas on how much something like that will run?
It has to be fixed, I just don't like that one part... everything else I love
Re: Ideas on this house front
I remember that from a couple years ago and thought it was so silly when I saw it.
I'd just stucco it - just get a stuccoer to fill it in and paint it to match.

What color would you paint it? The trim color or the brown color?
The same color as the rest of the stucco - make it like it was never there. Painting polka dots would not make the situation better
ETA - Just so we're clear: you do NOT need to add beams to conceal this. Just get somebody up there with some stucco and they'll fill it in and it'll match and your front will be entirely stucco. No trim color, no beams, nothing but that camel color of the body. With a garage that prominent, you don't want to do anything else to draw attention to it (ie, beams) and away from your front door - leave the beams as the special element attracting attention to your door.

Well I dont like the camel color either...
So considering I dont like the camel color... what other color would you do? A light tan or creme or brown?
I think the camel color looks really nice. I like it a lot. I would not mess with it unless you know you have an eye for color. Exterior color is hard when you're dealing with the subtle tones in your brick.
Also, the neighborhood looks like it is well kept enough that there might be an HOA or other board that controls appearance, so check that before you make too many plans.

I seriously just.. I can't believe this is a "thing" lol.
I agree with TH&R. If you have a HOA, make sure there's not special approved colors you have to limit yourself to, but if you're not a fan of that color, see if you can find something in the same family as the trim but darker. That might look okay.
