Dress me for a wedding help!

I am attending my first wedding single and its back home where everyone knows what happened with STBX and I. Some of the people in attendance were VERY unsupportive and RUDE throughout the whole ordeal and so I want to look nice and appear as happy as possible. Word will undoubtedly get back to him so Id like to have no reason for people to pity me. Of course, it goes without saying that its the Bride and Groom's day, so I dont want to be obsequious, but I do want to feel pretty and confident because that's how I feel without STBX.

 

I have several LBDs but its a 2 pm wedding with a 5pm reception June 2nd. The bridesmaids are wearing a turquoisey/teal color and thats the other wedding appropriate dress I have so that's out. Id like to spend under $100 and Im a size 8ish.

Oo that's pretty! I think some gold/bronzey shoes would be nice with it too.. although I have several pairs of nude, would that work?

I think the ann taylor dress will help you pull off the "i am divorced and doing quite well for myself thank you very much" look that you are hoping to achieve.  the jcrew dress is nice but the other one has a little extra something (especially if you can get it for a similar price with a coupon). i think the versatility of dressing it up or down with the shoe choice is good too. i do think nude shoes would work well with it.
