Eyelashes and Mascara help

Hi,

I don't usually post on this board but thought you ladies may be able to help me...

My eyelashes suck - the are short, straight and sparse.  I feel like my current mascara routine takes 10 mins in AM.   I heat my curler and use a cheapy mascara (Maybelline Lash Discovery) and repeat this process 3x.  Then my lashes look decent.

I feel like I've tried lots of combinations of drug store and "good" (aka Sephora/Nordys) mascara over the years.

I've tried Latisse and it made my eyelids purplish and irritated, so I gave it to my sister and her lashes look amazing of course!

Can anyone rec a good mascara / routine ?  I don't care about the price. help.....

TIA :)

Re: Eyelashes and Mascara help

  • I'm Asian and have the typical short, straight lashes (though they're not as bad as some I've seen). After seeing so many people rave about Maybelline Falsies mascara I decided to try it and OMG how have I not discovered this mascara before??? My lashes are the best I've ever seen them. People with thick or decent lashes will complain about clumping but if your lashes are rather sparse like mine it's not an issue at all.

I have both the regular Falsies and the Flared, both in Waterproof and they're equally amazing. I have oily skin and waterproof mascara will usually run on me but this one really stays put. It's really difficult to remove but I bought Neutrogena Oil Free eye makeup remover and it works great.

  • I really like the Lancome Mascara - Definicils I think its called.  Its totally made a difference to me.  Good to heat the curler, it def helps.  I swear by MAC curler, I have had others and ended up chucking them!  GL!
