What sides for a shrimp boil at the beach?
For mother's day we are going to the beach with my family. My brother is doing a shrimp boil with corn and new potatoes. I was thinking I would bring some non-mayo cole slaw, some salsa and chips and hummus. Should I do something different> I feel like except for the slaw my ideas don't really scream shrimp boil to me.

Re: What sides for a shrimp boil at the beach?
Non mayo cole slaw is a great idea.
Tomato-cucumber salad.
Cheesy biscuits
Green salads are always nice
If it were me and my family I would bring a 5 pound bag of mussels or littlenecks to go with.
Also what's for dessert? You could bring pie. Nom nom
strawberry shortcake would top it off nicely.
I like the salsa/hummus/chips idea.
Stuffed Mushrooms, becuase you can have them cold or hot.
Baked Beans
Salad
OMG your sig is awesome...lol
Captain Google to the rescue!
