My mom is in the hospital :(
Her blood counts were borderline on Monday, but they gave her chemo anyway and I guess she's been feeling really sh*tty so she's being admitted. I hate this.
And my grandma is being a psycho. She called my cell 2 minutes after I spoke to my mom, which I ignored, and then she called my work phone which I answered before looking at the number. I don't even know how she got my work number.
She just adds stress to everything, and I know she's going to spend all day at the hospital annoying my mom and crying over her and generally being a drama hore and probably calling everyone she knows and crying about it. I don't want to deal with this

I'm so sorry Annie. How stressful - without the added stress of your grandmother. Then you add that, and it gets overwhelming.
I hope she's okay, and that she is able to get some rest and get better quickly.

I don't know if you're looking for suggestions or if you were just venting, but I had a thought that maybe you can contact the hospital and ask for limited visiting hours for your mom so your grandma's not a hovering, blubbering stress all day?
Oh Annie hang in there. Try not to let your grandma get to you. In hindsight we all understand that stress can make us crazy. I fought with my dad several times to the point I didn't think we would ever talk again if my mom passed. Now we are ina really good place Your mom is the one who needs to tell her mom off. You just try to be there for your mom and the rest is unintelligible noise.

This might be a good idea. Maybe I can talk to the nurses tonight when I go in. Hopefully she won't have to stay too long, but I have no idea at this point.
