I am going to make cupcakes either with something edible blue or pink inside for our families. I thought doing a filling would be fun, but there are really no fruity fillings for either color. So I thought about doing marbled cupcakes, with either chocolate or vanilla cupcakes with a blue or pink swirl inside.
Anyone know how to make marbled cupcakes? It's not going to be as easy as making a marbled cake. And if I could make the swirl just on the inside that would be cool, but that sounds pretty unrealistic. Any ideas are helpful! Thanks!
ETA: I just want ideas for the marbled cupcakes, not for filling ideas. Thanks!

Re: XP: Marbled Cupcakes
Hey,
Here's the recipe from my blog for marble cupcakes, though these are vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with strawberry buttercream frosting. You can see the marbling technique though, and you could always just use food coloring to dye the vanilla, rather then adding cocoa powder to make it chocolate. Hope this helps
