Now mind you, I haven't had my PP doctor appointment yet...but I guess we just couldn't wait. I mean, it kind of just happened and well...IT WAS GREAT! I almost made it to O but it's always been hard to put me just that little teeny bit extra over the edge lol. Anyway, I took my Plan B pill earlier today because I haven't started a pill yet. I'm just so happy I didn't have one of those horror first time sex stories after having a baby type situation =D
I'm so relieved!
Re: I HAD SEX!
I agree.
And what happened to using a condom? Ever heard of STDs and HIV?
If you are going to fool around, use birth control. No exceptions.
^^^This
Did I miss back story? If she's married, why would she need a condom to protect against STD's, assuming they have been faithful?
Ignore this statement if none of the above criteria are in place.
But seriously, if you don't want to get pregnant before you go back on the pill, you should use a condom as pregnancy prevention.
biscuit... ever see one of these?
they can be very useful.... try it! plan B is horrible for your body, and it can decrease your chances of conceiving in the future.
Mommy loves you Eevee!

The problem is that she is MISusing this medicine....
Birthcontrol is used when protection is not, as a precaution against pregnancy...
Plan B is used for an Accident... IE Rape, or Condom breakage, ect Not for run of the mill I want sex and cont want to use BC quick fix...
What is she going to do, go buy this forty dollar plus pill every time she has sex?? NO.. because that's not what its designed for!
sheesh. Give the girl a break. It sounds like shes obviously in a committed relationship. This was unexpected, and she just hasn't gotten back on birth control yet.
Plan B is just a higher dose of the same hormone that is in a lot of kinds of birth control, she had it around, she took it, she'll be fine.
Congrats on being happy and having a healthy sex life!

Thanks! Yes, this is true! I'm in a committed relationship and I wasn't planning on having sex yet...it kind of just happened. So I took my Plan B pill since I haven't started my regular pill.
I'm not too worried about it (: I am starting my old pill again in a week, but was going to be on a new one since I was trying to breastfeed. Sometimes things don't work out exactly like you plan
Yes, but it is incredibly irresponsible of her....committed relationship or not. Bragging about having sex while not using proper birth control methods when you just had a kid and rely on government assistance is not the best thing to do. Please use a condom next time until you and your fianc? are financially ready to fully support your current kid and possibly another one.
What are you basing that information on? Yeah, there are side effects, but infertility isn't one of them.
Plan B is 95% effective when taken within 24 hours. This sounds like a birth control method to me.
Yes, there are side effects that suck, but OP has to deal with those, not you so whats the big deal? The side effects of Plan B are a pretty good deterrent from keeping women from using plan B as a primary birth control method anyway.
